But there is another way!

Hi, I'm Alison

I've walked in those same shoes, feeling completely out of control, depressed, apathetic, anxious and overwhelmed.


For years, I was so angry, so overwhelmed and so anxious. The hamster wheel in my head never stopped racing. I was either focused on the past (what I "should have" said or done), or worried and obsessed with the future.


It was a crappy way to live, and I often wondered whether this was going to be how the rest of my life would be.

What I wanted was to flow through my day with ease and grace.


I wanted a life worth living, finding delight in the simple things, and even in the responsibilities of everyday life.


I wanted peace in my heart, regardless of what was happening around me.


I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands and find non-traditional ways to fix my life.

I went the traditional medical route at first, talk therapy and medication, but it wasn't enough.


  • I needed to address my inability to balance my emotions and my inability to control my negative thoughts
  • I needed to work with the whole body/mind integration
  • I needed to address my lack of connection, to myself, to my community, to the world


And I found so many ways to do so that worked for me, after spending countless hours in workshops, courses and training programs, and I want to share them with you.

Today, I run a thriving Wholistic Wellness practice helping women in their 40's and 50's ditch their anxiety, overwhelm and chronic stress, regaining an enthusiasm, motivation, passion and joy for life!

Most of the programs out there for managing anxiety, chronic stress, overwhelm only focus on one, maybe two, areas.


There's a heavy emphasis on exercise, mindfulness and diet with some meditation practices thrown in. But for many women, this isn't enough.

and overwhelm?

HOW IT WORKS

When you enroll in Your Journey to Joy, together we'll uncover your main stressors. They may not be what you think they are. From there, we'll move through the following modules:

MODULE 1: Stress - what's it all about

In Module 1, we'll look at the physical impacts of overwhelm, chronic stress and anxiety. You may be shocked at what it does to our bodies. You'll learn techniques to help support your physical body and tools to decrease those impacts.

HOW IT WORKS

MODULE 2: Thinking Processes

In Module 2, we'll be looking at our thoughts and what those thoughts do to us, mentally and emotionally. We'll be doing some soul searching in this module for sure, learning to shift limiting thoughts.

MODULE 3: Spirituality and Why it's Important

In Module 3, we'll do a deep dive into why a spiritual practice is necessary in today's world, how it calms your nervous system, why we need to connect to our hearts and to something greater. We'll explore and develop our own spiritual practice.

HOW IT WORKS

MODULE 4: Emotions and Overwhelm

In this Module, we'll look at our emotions and how they play a role in how we live our lives, and why it's so important to identify what we feel. Once we've done that we learn ways to shift those emotions.

MODULE 5: Energetic Consequences

In Module 5, we see how important energy is, how it affects us and how we can harness it for our own wellbeing.

HOW IT WORKS

MODULE 6: Moving Forward

In this last Module, we'll wrap up the program, review everything we've learned

and have our very own roadmap for the future.
